This is my very first post. I am so excited to start this blog! I've recently become an avid blog reader and have been meaning to start one of my own. I love learning new ideas for my kindergarten classroom and thought I should give back by sharing some of the activities that I do in my own classroom.
ONLY 2 CLICKS
I recently found this website called: Only2Clicks . This website allows you to access your bookmarks from anywhere you have an internet connection. I use this for my classroom because it allows me to create tabs for different subjects. It also uses screenshots of the webpages as buttons so kids no longer have to ask, "What does this say?." It is visual and kids can be more independent when browsing on your school computer. I also use it on my classroom website so kids can continue learning at home.

ReplyDeleteI created an account and set up several tabs. When I share the page with students it goes to the 2clicks home page and requires a log in. What am I doing wrong?

ReplyDeleteI had this issue too when I first started using only 2 clicks. Here's what you need to do:
1. Log in to your only 2 clicks website.
2. You should see all of your bookmarks and tabs. At the top of the website click on the PROFILE button.
3. In a beige colored box find the section that says: Choose Your Web Address. you will find:
http://www.only2clicks.com/pages/ _______________. In the white box enter what you would like at the end of your personalized URL. For example my web address is: http://www.only2clicks.com/pages/kinderkidsatplay
4. Then at the bottom of the page click UPDATE.
5. Give your students your newly created website address for only 2 clicks. I give my kids this website: http://www.only2clicks.com/pages/kinderkidsatplay
They shouldn't have to log in and they get access to all of your bookmarks.
